Though I haven’t been friends with him for that long my bestie hairdye, (Inside joke, that’s what we call him now) means the world to me. He’s was there for me during my darkest times and his whole family took me under their wing. I was basically the daughter they never had. So when I heard that his mom was getting remarried, it felt like I was getting married. But then when she asked me to make her wedding bouquet? Of course I said yes! I crochet a lot, especially flowers. It randomly came up one day while we were talking and I showed her a picture of some of the flowers I’d done before. To say she was blown away is an understatement. So I spent months making this bouquet perfect for her special day. Then came the suggestion that I should be part of the wedding. I wanted to go so badly but flight tickets were scarce and expensive. I also had a huge thing on the week of the wedding. I was devastated that I couldn’t go, but my friend was there every day sending me photos and spilling me all the tea. He knew I was still disappointed I couldn’t go so he brought me back a few gifts, one of them being this bracelet! Now I wear it every day to remind me of him, and I hope to eventually pass it on and create memories for someone else.
