This past year, my life changed in ways I never expected. I went through a divorce, left behind the life I had known for years, moved across the country, started a new job, and began figuring out what life looked like when the path ahead was entirely my own.
There were moments when I felt completely lost. But somewhere along the way, I realized that being lost and not knowing where you’re going aren’t necessarily the same thing. Sometimes the path you thought you were supposed to follow ends—and you get the chance to choose a new direction.
The compass has become a symbol of that for me.
It reminds me that we don’t always need to know exactly where we’re going. We just need something that brings us back to ourselves—to the people we love, the things that matter, and the courage to keep moving forward.
I wanted to make these bracelets for the people who have been part of my journey. A little reminder that wherever life takes us, we can change direction, begin again, and still find our way home.
