I went on a study abroad trip to Vienna, Austria for the month of August. I went into the program not really knowing anyone and being nervous about being with a brand new group of people. Camryn and I met on our first day and from that moment on the month was filled with coffee runs, study sessions, museum trips, trying new foods, karaoke, late night talks, and so much more. As two people whose lives might never have crossed back home, we were in the right place and the right time halfway across the world to be lucky enough to get to know each other. She gave me the necklace on the last day of our trip, as we were packed like sardines on a train on the way to the airport. Our paths are separating for now for new adventures, but now I have a little piece of our friendship to carry with me.
