My journey began in hospitality. My first job was in a restaurant, and I was hooked on helping others and wanted to make a career out of it. I went to school for hospitality and worked in events until COVID when I was forced to pivot.
I found myself in manufacturing and wasn’t sure if I would thrive in an environment that wasn’t hospitality until I realized that having the skill set of “people” would be such an asset in this field.
Now, I work in project management in renewables, and I still use hospitality as the leading principle in everything I do, and I appreciate how my journey through restaurants formed my passion for successful projects and client engagement.
