Growing up on a North Dakota farm taught me that hard work, creativity, and being willing to lend a hand can take you a long way. Those lessons have stuck with me, even though the road since then hasn’t always been one I planned.
Civil engineering took me from aviation and commercial development to an unexpected wind project in Texas. That opportunity opened the door to renewables, where I found a passion for tackling challenges that rarely come with an obvious answer. I’ve been fortunate to work alongside great people, build a great team, and help turn some pretty ambitious ideas into reality.
Through it all, what keeps me grounded hasn’t changed. It’s family, friends, and making time for what matters. Whether that’s a weekend at the lake, hunting with my dad, UND hockey, or a beach with my wife and kids, that’s where I feel most at home.
