North Dakota has always been home. I grew up on family farms where harvest meant long days, broken equipment meant finding a way to fix it, and everyone pitched in until the job was done. I didn’t know it then, but those experiences would shape much of what came next.
My path through civil engineering eventually led to a challenging wind project in Texas and a career in renewables. I love that the work still requires the same creativity and willingness to roll up your sleeves that I grew up around. No two projects are alike, and there is something rewarding about watching an idea become something real.
But the things that matter most have little to do with engineering. They’re lake weekends, hunting with my dad, UND hockey, beach trips, and most importantly, making memories with my wife and kids.
