My husband and I ran across these bracelets at The made in NC event in April 2018. That day was “interesting” after purchasing the bracelet I stopped by the restroom and accidentally left my purse in the bathroom.😬 The people at this show basically stopped everything to help me search and even announced over the show loud speaker that “Amy, the girl pounding Bloody Mary’s, is searching for her White Michael Kors purse.” Then as I was shopping around I saw this beautiful lady running up to me, with the purse in hand stating “Amy, I found your purse.” It was Thebes’s lady we purchased this bracelet from. 😊 So thankful!

2018 had been a trying year, on January 8th, 2018 our condo building caught on fire, that day we lost our home, a dear friend “Ms.Debbie”, and her precious dog  Mugsy, the neighborhood pet & mascot. My journey of what kindness means to me starts on this day. The entire community came to our rescue that day, bringing blankets, waters, food, and most of al shoulders to cry & lean on as we watch in agony our home burn, knowing a dear friend, who was like a second mom, was unaccounted for. On this day my head was broken and I had idea where we would go or how we would possibly move forward. It’s the journey of moving forward that I want to document and how a small Beach town community picked us up and started us on our journey of MOVING FORWARD.

This bracelet is a reminder of all the kindness that been shown to me this year, it’s a symbol of moving forward and repaying the kindness to those that I come in contact with daily. Pay it forward, while moving  forward -distributing kindness!
