Sisterhood of the Traveling Bracelet

Tag number: #5958

My sister is awesome and got us this bracelet to use as a sister friendship bracelet that we can pass back and forth when we see each other. Laney gave me this bracelet on the last night of their visit to Idaho. While she (and Emmy and Mama) visited, we went to lots of places: Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, the Oregon-California Trail Center, the Snake River, the Potato Museum, the Museum of Clean, the Artitorium, and the zoo. (I think that was everywhere but there may have been more.) Emmy and Laney both liked Pixel, which was a happy surprise, and Mama liked him too, which was not a surprise. Laney and I baked lots of things: cookies, biscuits, and cupcakes 2 times. It was super fun!!

Starting the Journey

I bought my bracelet at Fort King George State Historic site in Georgia on our way home from Florida (Legoland and Sea World). I ALWAYS think spreading kindness is important because everyone is just doing the best they can and we all need some kindness. (Plus God is love and we should be sharing that love.) My bracelet reminds me to look for chances to be kind moment by moment.

Florida Adventure

7000+Universal+Blvd Orlando, Florida

Around the middle of August, my husband, daughter, and I let my sister and her husband in Florida. We spent a week doing Disney and Universal. At the end of the week, we had girl time and stayed in Universal’s Endless Summer Resort. It was wonderful! My daughter was so brave and ride pretty much everything she was y’all enough to ride at Universal. Then, my sister had to go back to Idaho and we had to go back to S.C. to start school. She realized that she hadn’t passed me the bracelet when she meant to, so she mailed it to me (along with delicious huckleberry candy). I put it on my ankle and headed back down to Disney. Unfortunately, it fell off somewhere between riding Spaceship Earth and the Figment ride. 🙁
