How did I receive my Compass? My dad went on a trip and came back with things for me and my brothers. We each received a Compass. I traded my brother for a necklace which I thought I might actually wear.
Why do I think spreading kindness is important? Well, kindness is something that I love to see. Nearly every morning at school, I hold the door for people coming in. It makes me feel good to help others or when they help me. But… only so many people say “thank you.” In fact, the majority just walk through without saying a word! So… what does this have to do with why I think kindness is important? Well, it’s important because it help people find out what kind of people surround them. Kindness is super important. When you are kind, people are more likely to want to be around you and be kind back to you.
What does my Compass Bracelet mean to me? How does it inspire me? After just receiving my bracelet—well, it’s a necklace—I knew I should wear it. It is a symbol of my travels and experience. It is a reminder to be kind wherever I go. It inspires me to be kind wherever I go!
