When something feels heartfelt, speak up

Tag number: #12732

I received my compass from my good friend Mike who gifted it to me when he came back from visiting family in NC. I did not expect something so wonderful and sentimental! <3 I am so happy that I can take this kindness with me as I make my journey through my chemical engineering degree and into the next chapter of my life. My first journey with my compass was a steep hike up to a lookout with Mike where we saw an incredible amount of hawks soaring in the sky while we played classic rock and enjoyed the sunny spring day.

The challenge of kindness is that we will never truly know how much a little kindness will impact someone, but it can make all the difference. This bracelet is a reminder for me to be grateful for my journey and to speak up when something touches my heart.

I attached a photo I took of a happy baby stringray fluttering around in his aquarium. His joy brought me joy 🙂
