52 years ago while living in Illinois, USA, , a 7-year old neighbor girl originally from NE England knocked on my door & introduced herself. 4 years later her family returned to England leaving me no forwarding address. Miraculously we were reunited in social media in 2012 & in 2014 we enjoyed our 1st reunion in 42 years!! I love the trans-Atlantic friendship we’ve created!! From Tampa, Florida, I now pass this bracelet on to my English friend so she can pass it on. What a gift it will be for me to discover where this global friendship bracelet’s path will take it around the world.

After leaving USA in 1976 to UK I was lucky after so many years to find Beth and her family again, through social media. A wonderful journey back from the past. Now we get to share our friendship first lit by my 7 year old self. Our journeys are a pin point on a compass on a world where connections are closer than ever. It was so wonderful to find we could catch up while feeling we had never really been apart for so long. My journey across the Atlantic brought so many memories while been able to make new memories 💞 We can’t wait to see where our Compass goes next. Enjoy the journey ahead ❤💞🌍🌎🌏🧭
