While visiting Amicalola Falls for a fun outing with my girlfriend, we came across these bracelets in the gift shop. It was reminiscent of geocache bugs that I would find while practicing some GPS/ground navigation with my dad. I thought it would maybe be great for us to have, considering the traveling we’ll be doing since we are both pilots. As I mentioned that these bracelets could be kinda cool, she silently noticed how they would be a great Christmas present, and bought them behind my back after discouraging the purchase. Now, each of us have one after opening our presents for Christmas, and I’m so glad for that!
This bracelet will serve as a time capsule/reminder of the places we will have been, and a sign that great memories are always on the horizon. Potentially someone else could find this bracelet and be inspired. Or perhaps loved ones will receive these down the line and continue a new tradition.
