Hello,
- This story begins with what brought me and Charlie to Wilmington, NC. It is to attend his 2nd cousin’s memorial service. Charlie’s 2nd cousin, Cameron Oxford, sadly lost his life at the age of 32 to his own struggles. Today, Sunday May 18th is our 2nd day in Wilmington, NC. Chris Oxford, Charlie’s other 2nd cousin, and Allison (his wife) made plan to take us to Wrightsville Beach for fishing, sightseeing and shopping. While Charlie and Chris were fishing at Wrightsville Beach pier around 8:30 am, Allison took me shopping around. We went a couple stores before going to Redix Store when we discovered this Compass bracelet. She bought one but I didn’t think of it at the time. A couple hours later, after the guys are done fishing, Charlie and I went back to Redix Store and I decided to buy one so I can start my life journey at the age of 54, whether traveling or personal or family gathering or achievement journey or spread kindness to others. Ever since I met Charlie and his big extended families, I have big admiration to the Oxford’s tight knit relationship. That’s what a family is for. Be there for and helping each other during happy and sad times!!
