Today is my son’s 10th birthday and I am at the airport traveling to have dinner with him and spend the weekend with him.
I was listening to a book called The Source about changing the way you think. In the book I heard of a practice many people have of starting the day with 3 bracelets on one arm and throughout the day after completing a stated practice (like gratitude, mindfulness, or some other practice) intentionally they move the bracelet to the other arm.
I thought what a great way to remember to “find myself” and practice presence throughout my day, not just in my morning meditation.
So hear I am in the PHX airport and looking for bracelets to start my new ritual I find Compass Bracelets. After reading what they are all about I thought, “what a great way to pass on my practice to other people I connect with in life”.
So here today the ritual begins. I bought 5 bracelets and hopefully life will put people in my path that I can not only pass on the bracelet but pass on the practice of intentional presence and mindfulness.
