I received my Compass Bracelet from my Aunt Jill. My family and I were visiting my NooNoo at his home in South Carolina for the Fourth of July. I am a Master of Occupational Therapy student in Illinois and I was spending the afternoon online in class. My mom and Jill decided to spend the afternoon exploring the town of Lexington, SC and they stopped at a little shop. This is where Jill found the Compass Bracelet and she decided to come home and give it to me as a gift since I wasn’t able to go shopping. It was the sweetest thing!
Spreading kindness is something I truly do every single day. Kindness is infectious, and I believe being kind to someone can turn someone’s bad day into a good one. This bracelet inspires me to see the good in all people. As my mom once said, “We all put our pants on the same way!” In other words, we are all human. It’s important to remember that you never know what someone else is going through. Even when it seems impossible to see the good in EVERYONE, it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try. I hope everyone who has the chance to wear this bracelet can continue to spread kindness… maybe all over the world! 🙂 Life is simply too short to not be kind.
xoxo, Taylor
