I got the bracelet from Allison during her visit to the Galápagos Islands. I live here and work as a Naturalist, Allison spent a week of adventures on board the ship I work for. I do believe the nature of kindness is the nature itself… maybe that is why she gave me this beautiful mission of wearing it till I find somebody who loves and share love in a noble way… I am sure just like happened to her… I will know who is that one when I’ll meet him or her.

As I approach retirement age, there is an expectation that I will ” retire” . I hate the word. It seems to mean leave your work, your career and something you have worked so hard at for a good part of your life. I am on a journey, to find adventure, and what inspires me. Travel allows us to see the wonders of the world, make new friends and explore what life can be with out a 9 to 5 job. I’m off to the Galapagos Islands. I hope to pass on the Compass necklace on to a new friend. Hopefully sending it on a journey of friendship.
