I had a layover in Salt Lake City, Utah on my way back to Charlotte, NC (to drive to Asheville!) from Las Vegas, Nevada for the 2023 Achieving Success Convening. During the layover, I decided to take some time to look for postcards and some keepsakes from SLC to remember it as I couldn’t take a rental car and be back in time. I saw this bracelet, and the business that makes the bracelets gives 25 percent of its profit to support foster children and adoption. This spoke to me because I am currently a foster youth, and it is a small way for me to give back to a community I care about.
Kindness is free. This world would be so much better if we could see the humanity in everyone and treat them the way they should be treated, as a human in this world whom God calls us to love.
My compass bracelet can help me spark my interest in traveling, and in a small way, is a reminder for me to kickstart my advocacy for foster youth.
