I was given this bracelet just before I left for Japan. This trip was a cultural exchange program, and I was given another bracelet to give to my host family. My compass allows me to know that my host family, even if we’re on opposite sides of the world, is still right beside me. Our meeting was truly “a miraculous encounter.”
