I want my bracelet to be a FreeSpirit, just like me!

Tag number: #3436

I bought my bracelet at MerleFest Bluegrass Festival, in Wilkesboro, NC , in April 2018, from the delightful Sam, founder and originator of CompassionBracelets. We had a great chat, and her enthusiasm, kindness and excitement about this venture were infectious. I love these kinds of “sharing adventure” things….remember putting a message in a bottle and floating it off to sea? I always liked the concept of bringing the world a little closer together, by sharing a piece of oneself with complete strangers (and social media is NOT my preferred venue of that concept!) .

I pray my bracelet will touch your heart, as the next person I give it to has touched mine……and I hope the bracelet (and the wearer!) will continue their journey to far reaches of the world, enjoying and experiencing all the wonders and delights this world has to offer……and maybe someday, the bracelet will return to me, along with a new friend, from somewhere far far away.

GodSpeed,little bracelet, and safe travels!

Nancy

Nancy visited Scotland…

An+Teallach,+Rhonehouse Castle+Douglas, UK

Nancy came to Scotland, to be precise – to Galloway which is Southwest Scotland. We cycled together this beautiful part of this world. It is full of art and culture and amazing people. Galloway is an ancient land – there are so many places where there is evidence that people settled and travelled through more than 5000 years ago. So we continue this human journey. Sharing the landscapes and sharing the stories of where one comes from and where one goes to – closing circles and leaving things behind and pass things on. AND so the journey of this bracelet will be part of an old way of bonding. Thank you Nancy for giving it to me.

I got my bracelet during a cycletour through Galloway, in Scotland, from our lovly friend living in a small village Rhonehouse there. It is important to help people on his way through the life to know that we are not alone if we need some help or kindness.

A gift from my brother…

…to wear it on the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela.
