I bought my Compass bracelet at a museum shop in St. Michaels, MD, while attending a Sea Glass Festival with my sisters.  I’d never seen one before and thought it was a cool idea.  There is not enough kindness in the world today.  I have a sign in my front yard that was popular in my neighborhood.  It says “Be Kind” and it’s on a rainbow background.  We are all in need of kindness, in giving it as well as receiving it.  Even small acts, done each day, help make the world a little brighter.  When someone asks me how I am, be it in a store, medical office, theater, I respond by asking them how they are and they are usually surprised that I even ask!  I even do this with pesky telemarketers before I hang up on them.  I’m kind but I don’t want what they’re selling!
