I received my compass from my mom just tonight, I think it means a lot to me because it was a gift and I care a lot about her. I think kindness is important because our world struggles a lot, and many people feel alone. I used to think that being a hero could only be done through specific jobs like being a firefighter. I’ve realized now, that being a hero means a multitude of things and could come from actions as small as complimenting someone’s outfit. I have my own personal struggles in life, but I’ve always been motivated to help other people no matter what. I feel a love for people and humanity deep in my soul and I want to make a difference and let people know that they matter, and I care about them.
