The journey of my Compass Bracelet

Tag number: #1917

I received my bracelet from my beautiful daughter, Ashley Thompson.  I am from Wisconsin and my daughter moved to North Carolina after meeting her wonderful husband, Jon Thompson.  Jon joined the army and they moved to Fort Bragg after getting married.  They now live in Fayetteville, NC where Ashley opened her new store, Press – A Creative Space.  She started selling these awesome compass bracelets in her store.  My husband and I went to visit them in February and we met in Asheville, NC.  Before I left she gave me her bracelet to wear on my journey back to Wisconsin.   I loved the bracelet and decided to wear it for a few months before giving it to my other beautiful daughter, Shelby Fitzgerald, who lives in La Crosse, WI.

This bracelet has been on many adventures with me since Ashley has given it to me to wear.  It was inspiring to wear and I’m sure it will have many adventures with Shelby before she passes it on to someone special.  I’m excited to follow the journey of this bracelet!!

My wonderful mother gave me my Compass after having received it from my sister. During the months that I had the bracelet, I never took it off. My Compass saw me through my last few weeks of graduate school and my graduation. I recently re-gifted the Compass to my dear friend, Jess right before I moved to begin my journey as a school psychologist in Reedsburg, WI. My hope for this bracelet is that it continues to create and inspire relationships between friends, family, and strangers as it travels.
