Vacation in Gratitude

Tag number: #11723

We are taking our first family beach vacation that is very much over due. We planned to take this vacation to celebrate our son’s completion of chemotherapy 4 years ago. Having lost my mother-in-law about a year ago to cancer, you realize life is too short to take anything for granted. I am thankful every for both of my son’s , my husband’s and my health and for being on this earth. I look at their beautiful faces and it fills my heart.  Because of the struggle and stress we have gone through, we try to be as kind to strangers as we can because you never know what that person is going through and even a small gesture of kindness can mean and do so much.  It is important to make everybody feel like somebody. I think that’s one of the best things you can teach your children. Raise good humans and the world will be a better place 🙂
