Wondering and Wandering

Tag number: #1920

While visiting my parents in North Carolina, my mom bought me this bracelet at a folk music festival. Before coming back to America in March, I was living out of my backpack around the world for 3 years. I worked in San Francisco, Alaska, Panama, Iceland, France, England, and Belgium and I cycled on a tandem bicycle through Morocco and eastern Europe. And although all my adventures have provided me with beautiful experiences and encounters with beautiful people, the most important people were always so far away. So, I decided to take a (semi) permanent position 8 month out of the year back in the states to be with them. At least, for now. The ache to move is constant and I will never escape this need to explore.

I hope the person I give this bracelet to will cherish it. I hope they will bring it through hardships and happiness, patiently waiting for the right person to send it on its way with. I hope all the best for you and every you after. I hope #1920 becomes filled with stories, filled with connection. I hope it criss crosses and spiderwebs across this world and across people to see more amazing places than any of us could ever imagine!

-Hannah
