My mom bought me my bracelet when she was visiting me and we were out and about downtown where I go to college. I’m from upstate New York, but I’m currently finishing my senior year of college in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Spreading kindness doesn’t cost us anything. It is a simple choice we can make to make this world a better place. Simple acts of kindness can go SUCH a long way and that is amazing to me. I want to be remembered for spreading love, kindness, and sunshine wherever I am able to do that.
First of all, my compass bracelet means a lot to me because my mom got it for me so I could start this bracelets journey. Since I graduated high school I have been traveling as much as I can, so my mom knew this would be such a special gift for me. She’s my bestfriend so moving 9 hours away from home was an adjustment, but also one of the greatest adventures so far in my young life. I studied a semester in Scotland and got to travel some of Europe. I met so many amazing people and saw so many beautiful places. Which is why the concept of this compass bracelet is so incredible to me. I am so excited to take it with me on all of my upcoming travels. This is going to be a very exciting year for me. After I finish my last semester in May, I will be taking a cross country road trip with my brother for a little less than a month. In July, I will be moving to Australia for 5 months. This year holds a lot of adventures. And among all of these adventures and journeys, I will wear this bracelet as a reminder to spread kindness and love every step of the way, in whatever way I can. I can’t wait to see where and when I feel the time is right to pass this bracelet on and watch its journey continue. Whoever is reading this, whoever I gave it to, know there was a special reason and I can’t wait to see where you take this bracelet and we can all be connected in this magical and unique way! Sending all the love!
