CB3767 – PASS IT ON

Our Granddaughter-In-Love holds a very special place in our hearts.  We were ALL  truly blessed the day Carly married our eldest grandson, Garrett.  Her contagious laughter, her gentle nature, her kindness and compassion, and her faith all seem boundless.  And the  strength and grace she shows in the face of adversity is unusual for one so young.  She can and has been an inspiration to others. SO, I was thrilled at our family dinner tonight when she asked where she could get a Compass bracelet.  I had hoped that she would want one...I have her mine. Carly, you will continue the journey of CB3767.  Each time you wear it, I want you to remember -

I love the meaning of this bracelet. My precious Grandy Lisa gave it to me just before some very trying times. My daddy will be having surgery to remove a large malignant tumor from his esophagus on June 20th. The same day that we should be celebrating my baby boy's 1st birthday. I have a condition called Marfan syndrome. It effects the connective tissue in my body which means I have weak vessels. Especially, my aorta, which I discovered was enlarged during my pregnancy in 2016. It could have been  fatal for me to deliver a full term baby with my condition. The doctors recommended that I abort the baby. But I knew that I was not strong enough to make that decision. So after lots of praying, God made the decision for me. I prayed that if my life was in danger that God would decide to keep our baby for himself so that I would not have to make that difficult decision. A miscarriage is so hard to endure but trusting God through it all has made it much easier. I know that He protected me so that I could take care of my little girl, Addie and her daddy who both really need me. With that being said, I want to honor our baby boy Elijah by sharing some kindness to someone in need. I pray that God will place just the right person in my life to receive this bracelet. I want them to know that God is so good and He is working all things together for His kingdoms glory. He loves each of us more than we can even imagine. Being a mommy helped me to understand that, and losing a child helped me comprehend it even more. I pray for blessings to those who read this, the creators of this bracelet and it's mission, and for the journey of CB 3767. Keep the faith, if you ask God to help you through a hard time..He will! I know that He answers prayers, I am living proof .
