My Journey into Renewables

I started my engineering journey with a simple goal: to make a difference in the world.

After working across different areas of civil engineering, from land development to forensics, I realized I was looking for something more – work that connected my technical skills with something I deeply cared about: our planet and its future.

That led me to renewable energy. I began my journey in residential solar in an engineering role, where I discovered just how powerful clean energy could be. Wanting to make a broader impact, I transitioned into utility-scale solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS), taking on projects that could help shape the future of our energy system at a much larger scale.

Today, I lead teams of engineers developing utility-scale renewable energy projects. It has been an incredible journey of learning, growth, and purpose. And I’m excited about what’s still ahead.

Most importantly, I want my journey to inspire others, especially women, to see themselves in engineering, energy, and leadership. You don’t have to have it all figured out to take the next step. You just have to believe you can make a difference and go for it.
