Given by a Special Friend

My wonderful daughter-in-law gave me three new necklaces. This one I passed on to a friend Diane who made a special and thoughtful gift for my 50th wedding anniversary.

I received this necklace from a friend whom I have know almost as long as I have lived in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. That is a total of 44 years. We were in a babysitting co-op and she had just moved to town. She is a person I have always admired for the unselfish and giving attitude she always does for the community and to all people in our community. I was very touched that she thought of giving this to me. Spreading kindness is so important that she has inspired me to purchase two bracelets for very special people that I know in order to continue to spread this gesture. I could not part with my necklace for it helps me to remember to do the same to others.
