Maggie’s bracelet

Bought this bracelet while at Merlefest this past weekend in Wilkesboro, NC.   It seemed like a great thank you gift for my little sister who just came to visit me from Denver, CO.  She has flown across the country to visit me and my family 3 times in the past 6 months (since we moved away). I know she likes to travel but I also understand its expensive and exhausting... I want her to know how much it means to me, sisters by chance, best friends by choice. I Love you Maggie.

My beautiful sister, Claire passed the bracelet onto me soon after purchasing it...she saw the numbers and knew the mission of Compass Bracelets and she immediately thought of me.  I love that she was thinking of me... for some time we didn't get along well.. mostly because I wasn't very cognizant of time, and often met her later than I said or just wasn't very present. She ended up moving from Colorado to North Carolina and I was so heartbroken. She just had her baby Eleanor and we were finally getting into a rhythm together communicating and having authentic hangouts. She is great with gifts, so it was easy to receive this one because I knew she had thought about it..and like I said, the connection was there immediately when she saw the numbers (7/16 is my birthday) and the mission of tracking stories of kindness, sharing love, taking chances and following your heart. I want to embody all of those things, so I'm thankful and excited she recognized me as such. Anyways, this bracelet has traveled everywhere this past year: Asheville, NC... Venice...Paris...Sydney..Berlin..Washington DC...Pennsylvania.. Colorado..and now it will go live in New York with my best friend Lacey...who also embodies this mission. I'm excited for her new adventure, as she lived in Colorado with me and recently moved to be with her family and build her business...but I know there is even more adventure in her! She let the spirit carry on<3
