My sister gave me this bracelet for Mother’s Day. The first Mother’s Day after a diagnosis of breast cancer and 5 days before a bilateral mastectomy. I will wear this bracelet through my recovery period. I will pass it on after I’ve recovered and am cancer free to the next breast cancer patient I meet. It will be a symbol of strength and hope to others facing this terrible diagnosis.
