Principal Doubting Her Purpose

I was walking into a book store just to take a break from my computer and stumbled upon the bracelets.  I was sold by the message, especially that 50% of profit goes to foster children!  I am a foster parent and I so much of my life if driven by my kids and I would not have it any other way.  They are the most amazing people on this planet!  I am excited about this bracelet, because every time I look at it, it reminds me of them.  It reminds me how important it is have love and compassion in all that we do.  It has also made me look for the good in people and see how I can support others.

One of the most talented ladies I know gave me the Compass.  She knows that I am truly doubting my purpose as a school leader and I guess she wanted to remind me of my path.  I know how much this bracelet means to her because of the reason why she purchased it so I am humbled.   It has been a rough 7 days but these was truly one of the sweetest gestures.
