When my grandfather passed in November 2024, I went back home to Jupiter, FL to attend his funeral and be with family. It was a hard trip but being from a huge Puerto Rican family, we love having babies lol. One of the days there we went to a turtle sanctuary for the kids and I found this necklace in the gift shop. My cousin and I decided to start our journeys that day. Something to keep us present in the moment, nothing lasts forever, we will eventually give it away but that doesn’t mean it’s over, just the start of something new. I hope she travels the world. I hope she meets so many new and wonderful people. I hope she gets to see Paris and the Netherlands and Korea and Thailand and Egypt. I hope she gets to swim with a whale or get really cold hanging out with a penguin. I hope she’s cherished.
