On my first ski trip my family and I went to Steamboat, Colorado. A small town feel with a mountainous backdrop was my first taste of the great state of Colorado. Having only skied once in my life (in Ohio…there are no mountains), it’s safe to say that I was slightly nervous about the whole thing. Luckily, Steamboat is home to one of the best ski schools in the nation, so we were in pretty good hands. After a few hours at ski school we were let loose to “shred” on our own for the rest of the day and the next. After an adventure such as this one, I needed something that I could take home so I could cherish the memories. There was a little shop in town that had awesome Steamboat merch and while looking around I saw the Compass bracelets. After taking a second to read the story behind them I knew this was the item for me. I love to travel and plan on going on my second trip to Greece in the summer of 2019 and thought that there would be nothing better than this. Something I can wear myself but with the ultimate intent to give to someone else. By the time 2019 rolls around I will have gotten to wear this for over a year and I’ll be ready to hand it over to some like minded stranger in hopes that they will pass it on when they go on their next trip across the globe. Here’s to the future!
