i’m hiking the CDT right now. One town along this trail is Steamboat Springs. we got into town and the person I was hiking with- catdog told me that he has Family in town he hasn’t seen for decades. He was excited to meet them after all this years and ask me if I could join him. Maybe as emotional Support. And this is how I came to the necklace. it was handed to me by this nice and awesome People even so they don’t knew me before.
The next day we even got a ride back to the trail head. They are real trail Angels! Sharing kindness is what makes this trail for me and I hope that I can give it back one day.
Since then I’m wearing the necklace every day because it was a special day. So it join me on my journey to Canada.
One day I will meet a person where I have the feeling they should have the necklace and continue the journey. It connects our Trails of Life and i Love this idea!
