I purchased mine in Steamboat Spgs., CO after visiting Carpenter Ranch and participating in a “snow drawing” event. Carpenter Ranch is a Nature Conservancy site dedicated to providing cultural & ecological information about the Yampa Valley of the Yampa River. The river supports cottonwoods, box elders, & red-osier dogwood as well as a variety of endangered fish.
Why is kindness important? As I write this, it’s 2019 and we’ve experienced growing animosity and intolerance world-wide. Sometimes even just a smile can be a simple act of kindness that one person needed that day and that time. They’ll better be able to get through the day and pass it on.
When I saw the bracelet I felt it was a simple reminder that the world is bigger than me and fellow travelers could pass on calm & kindness.
